MANISA. Commodity prices on the Turkish sultana market have fallen slightly due to low demand. Exporters have also made adjustments.

Commodity prices decline

Winter has already arrived in numerous provinces in eastern Turkey, accompanied by snowfall. In the west of the country, however, it remains significantly milder, with daytime temperatures of 21-24°C and night-time temperatures not falling below 11-13°C.

Trading activity remains moderate and exporters are primarily busy processing orders from long-term contracts. However, there are few prompt enquiries and demand for raw materials has declined to such an extent that prices have been reduced by TRY 3-5/kg since last week. With
