Organic sultanas to arrive as late as October

The comparatively cold temperatures in spring delayed the development of the fruits, meaning that the start of the new export season may be delayed by a few days. Market players reckon that large volumes of organic sultanas can only be exported as of October. Turkey exported 4,120 mt of sultanas and raisins last week. The average export price of USD 2,236 per mt is nearly USD 490 per mt more expensive than last year.
