MANISA. Exports pick up noticeably at the end of the year. Meanwhile, market players are speculating about whether the TMO will continue to accept sultana deliveries in the new year. There are probably only few capacities left.

Will deliveries end on 31 December?

Thanks to attractive prices, the TMO was the first choice for many sultana producers this year when it came to selling their goods. The state organisation has bought considerable quantities so far and will continue to accept deliveries until the end of 2022. In the meantime, the growers have sold a large part of their stocks; besides the TMO, the dried fruit were of course also sold on the free market.
