Sunflower seed kernels are not without alternative

SOFIA. It looks as though the rainfall of the last few weeks in southern Bulgaria came too late, which is why market participants do not rule out that parts of the rapeseed cultivation areas are lost, and must be sowed anew.

Cooler temperatures are seeing to it that development of the winter crops is slowing down. 

Bulgaria is importing
For the first time in this season, a load of 2,400 mt of sunflower seed kernels were imported to Bulgaria via the port of Varna. It could become evident to some traders that there are indeed alternatives.
