Argentina wants to play leading role

As AKP-Inform reports Argentina is itnent on stepping up production. Market analyst Pablo Adreani is confident that the country's production will climb from 3.42 million mt in 2021/2022 to 4.65 million mt next season as the area sown has risen from 1.67 million ha to 2.2 million ha. Argentina will, in addition, be able to process 4.35 million mt of sunflower seeds in 2022/2023, which is a sharp 23% rise on the current year.
