CHICAGO/HAMBURG. US soybean yields are to range lower than anticipated by the USDA and the Trump administration has refused to meet with China over the phase one deal. Oil mills in Europe will be confronted with a more limited supply of non-GMO rapeseed.

US soybean futures have lsot ground, despite concerns over persistent drought-like condititions in the Midwest. These adverse weather conditions are partly attributed to the La Niña phenomenon, which has an also has an impact on South America, Australia and Asia.
