ATLANTA/BUENOS AIRES. Many buyers, especially in the EU, are currently holding back on new purchases. This is due to high stocks and market players waiting for the crops from Argentina and Brazil.

Market players in the peanut market have currently adopted a wait-and-see attitude. There are relatively few enquiries, especially from the EU, which is mainly due to the fact that there are still sufficient stocks.
