Russia lost its top position

The agency notes that the lowering of the price of the US wheat is provoked by the fall of the exchange rate of the US dollar. As a consequence, the price is more competitive.
It is expected that the United States will export 28.2 million MT of wheat. In annual terms supplies will grow by 34%. In turn, Russia will sell 28 million MT.
The agency adds that European exports will decrease. This is due to the strengthening of the Euro and the expected bad yield. It will amount to 27 million MT.
At the end of January this year it was reported that Russia at the end of 2016 for first time became the largest wheat supplier on the world market.
