It will strongly depend on the amount of rains in the coming weeks

This is due to the lower estimate of the areas sown with corn.
At the same time, the harvest is expected to be better than last
year, reports www.zol.ru
The lands that are planted with cereals are currently in
good and satisfactory condition. Over the past few
weeks, rainfall has occurred in many areas, but in some
places the moisture deficit has remained.
The harvest will strongly depend on the amount of rain
in the coming weeks.
The volume of harvest of wheat will exceed the last year's
harvest by 1.6% and will reach 25 million MT.
As for the winter barley a harvest of 8.7 million MT (-3.7%) is expected, for the
spring barley a crop of 1.9 million MT (+ 5.5%) is expected and for the corn - 3.7
million MT (+ 2.3%).
